Local Head of System Integration and Test m/f/d Research & Development · Erlangen Germany, ERLANGEN

We are looking for a Head of System Integration and Test (m/f/d) to lead our local team and let our experts grow as a team.

What you will do

  • Coordinate resource and work package planning to support team strategies, roadmaps, and projects, ensuring balanced workloads and intervening as necessary for sustainable productivity
  • Take charge of defining team members' roles, assigning responsibilities, and shaping internal workflows to ensure transparent planning, workload management, and alignment with external processes
  • Ensure the team possesses the necessary skills to fulfill their responsibilities by either developing existing members or reassigning roles as needed, maintaining accountability for the team's competency profile
  • Represent the team to management, ensure adherence to defined scopes, and align with stakeholders on strategy
  • Contribute to defining internal processes and quality management system (QMS) procedures, while ensuring the team follows these processes diligently.

What you bring

  • Master's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar disciplines
  • Technical expertise in research and development (R&D), preferably within a specialized industry
  • Over 7 years of experience in R&D or Engineering, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing new teams within a highly collaborative international setting
  • Extensive experience of leadership and team building in technical environments
