Regulatory Compliance Program Management, Senior Analyst

Salesforce is looking to hire a Senior Analyst of Regulatory Compliance to join the Global Privacy, Product, and Technology Legal team. The successful candidate will have excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, as well as strong project and program management experience. The role will be responsible for embedding global regulatory requirements into business operations and will partner with Legal, Engineering, Security, Product, and Business teams to build strategies and drive execution of key regulatory compliance initiatives and coordination of related activities. The role will report to the Senior Manager of the Privacy Program Delivery team and work closely with the wider Global Privacy, Product, Technology, and Marketing legal team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing large cross functional initiatives related to privacy and regulatory compliance, with a focus on EU-based regulations.

  • Project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.

  • Developing and rolling out privacy and regulatory compliance requirements in partnership with Product, Marketing, Employee Success, Enablement and IT by translating policies and standards into procedures and guidelines.

  • Developing and delivering cross-functional training on compliance obligations.

  • Monitoring business compliance with established privacy and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Partnering with Product, Sales, Marketing, HR, and IT to build and monitor new operational practices across the Company to ensure adherence to program requirements.

  • Identifying, deploying, and maintaining metrics and controls for the program.

  • Delivering executive-level communications regarding the program.

  • Developing positive, strong, and collaborative relationships with multiple cross-functional partners across Salesforce to accelerate the team's effectiveness and ability to deliver through complex, cross-functional tasks.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • 8+ years of direct experience in operations and/or technology services roles;

  • Must be organized and possess a high level of understanding of regulatory compliance and operations;

  • Privacy experience including building and maintaining a records of processing activities registry and conducting privacy impact assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments;

  • Strong project planning and management skills and ability to make decisions and work with limited oversight;

  • Self-starter, results oriented, entrepreneurial style;

  • Strong customer-service orientation toward internal clients and external customers;

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; able to communicate and effectively influence outcome at all levels of the organization;

  • Ability to use personal influence to build positive working relationships with subject matter experts;

  • Bachelors degree required; Masters Degree a plus;

  • Privacy and Global Regulatory knowledge, e.g. EU Data Act and expanding EU AI laws;

  • CIPT, CIPM, or CIPP/E preferred
