Senior Business Development Manager, MÜNCHEN

TURN2X is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Developer to join our ambitious team. The primary mission for this role is to secure long-term customer contracts for renewable natural gas to help customers reach net-zero faster. You will be among the first business hires of the company and jointly define the trajectory of our company.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to generate pipeline in the double digits in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) within the first 90 days. Drive negotiations from start to end and close multi year off-take deals (first 6 months)

Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, utilizing high levels of empathy and understanding to meet client needs effectively.

Presentation & Communication: Hold compelling presentations and proposals that clearly communicate the value proposition of TURN2X’s offerings to potential clients.

Outcomes

First 90 days: Successfully generate a sales pipeline in the double digit millions

First 6 months: Close at least one off-take deal.

Within first 12 months: Secure agreements with 3 additional off-take customers

Gravitas and Confidence: Demonstrates a high level of seniority and confidence, with the ability to convincingly engage and persuade high-level stakeholders.

Proven Sales Track Record: Extensive experience in enterprise sales, with a history of closing deals in the 7 to 8-digit range (ideally in the climate or energy sector)

Customer Empathy: Exceptional ability to understand and empathize with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Complex Understanding: Capable of grasping complex concepts related to energy units, policies, and certifications.

Cultural fit: Possesses qualities that make spending extended time together enjoyable, indicative of a strong cultural fit within the team.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and German to cater to our diverse client base.

Nice-to-Have

Experience in the hydrogen industry or related fields

Ability to create impactful slides and presentations
