Senior Commodity Manager, MANNHEIM
A Key Automotive client is searching for several Commodity manager's across various Direct commodities. Please do not hesitate to apply if you are interested in joining this rapidly growing Automotive tier 1.
Responsibilities
Development of the international product group strategy for assigned commodity
Responsibility for a purchasing volume in the tens of millions
Technical management for up to 30 locations as part of his commodity
Analysis of the global procurement markets, assessment of changes in terms of opportunities and risks
Definition and development of a globally competitive supplier panel
Management of global inquiries and contract awards on a TCO basis
Negotiation and conclusion of contracts
Application and further development of modern negotiation tools, auctions, parallel negotiations and game theory approaches
Qualifications:
Successfully completed studies or several years of professional experience
Several years of relevant professional experience as a strategic buyer or commodity manager
Authentic personality, communication/negotiation skills and assertiveness
Sovereignty in contact with higher management levels, both internally and externally
Willingness to travel and intercultural competence
