Join AutoScout24 andplay a leading role in the development process as a Software Engineer - Android (m/f/d). You will cover much more than writing code that solves a specific problem in a way other engineers of any level can understand. To keep the code quality high, you create unit tests where appropriate. You can solve complex problems and you feel responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle, from code to release, to monitoring. You bring a DevOps mindset. Our software engineering teams are living our “you build it, you run it” approach.

We are organized in agile, mission-focused and cross-functional teams. We release every two weeksand utilize Feature Toggles andtrunk-based development. It will be the right role for you, if you enjoy helping others learn, solving complex technical challenges, and leading software projects.

What you’ll do

• Working in the technology stack we are using: Kotlin, Dagger, Rx, Coroutines, Espresso, Gradle Modules and integrate with a GraphQL backend and a few REST Services
• Be part of the technical planning of projects & features
• Closely work together with other teams that provide APIs to the Apps
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies
• Mentor other developers in the team
• Close collaboration with Product, UX, and Data
• Join us on our journey by finding the right mix between effort, quality, and user value

What will help you succeed

• Experience as a Software Engineer for at least 4 yearsin Kotlin and the Android SDK
• Experience in building features for a large-scale App
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Pipelines
• We are an international company - English is mandatory
• Bonus: experience working with cloud computing platforms, ideally AWS
• Bonus: you have experience working with GraphQL or Rx
