Your Tasks

  • You contribute to our strategic IT planning by working with business stakeholders to outline the essential IT components necessary for the successful implementation of new business initiatives.
  • You are the expert who turns high-level business initiatives into doable roadmaps, breaking them down into tickets that our software engineers can dive into, ensuring a smooth execution process.
  • Thanks to your holistic understanding of the product, you prudently consolidate functional and non-functional requirements from business and risk stakeholders, conveying a comprehensive product understanding and ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.
  • Being the go-to person for our engineers you address product-related inquiries and make sure that technical and non-technical teams are on the same wavelength.
  • In the same vein you team up with Customer Journey Experts and foster cross-functional cooperations bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation.
  • In the nitty-gritty of project details, you actively participate in refinement sessions with software engineers to ensure project goals and details are well-understood, facilitating a collaborative development process.
  • Last but not least, your data-driven insights, including definition and tracking of relevant metrics, offer valuable perspectives for our strategic objectives.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of REST APIs and ability to execute simple SQL statements against relational databases to verify system behavior
  • Prior backend development experience is highly advantageous
  • Profound technical understanding and experience in building technology platforms in microservice-based environments
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and proven ability to manage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders 
  • Passion for user-centric design and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences
  • Keen understanding of market trends and emerging technologies in the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges effectively
  • Excellent English communication skills are essential, proficiency in German is a plus
