German Speaking Construction Manager

Job Title: Construction Manager – HVAC / Plumbing (m/f/d)
Location: Augsburg, Germany (On-site with occasional Friday remote work)

Salary Range: €56,000 – €75,000 gross p.a. + Company Car

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management: Independently plan, organize, and supervise all on-site construction activities for HVAC and plumbing installations in the Augsburg area.
  
• Team Leadership: Lead, schedule, and instruct site crews (3 to 15+ workers) as well as manage subcontractors.
  
• Execution & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with quality standards, deadlines, and project budgets.
  
• Documentation & Correspondence: Maintain complete site documentation and manage all project-related formal correspondence.
  
• Change Management: Review, negotiate, and prepare change orders (Nachtragsmanagement).
  
• Commercial Support: Assist commercial project execution through site measurements (Aufmaß) and billing preparation.
  
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with Project Management, Procurement, Estimating, and Accounting to ensure seamless site execution.
  

Candidate Profile

Requirements (Must-Haves):

• Qualifications: Certified Master Craftsman (Meister), Certified Technician (Techniker), or extensive experience as a Senior Fitter / Lead Installer (Obermonteur).
  
• Experience: Minimum of 3–4 years of site management experience in HVAC/plumbing projects.
  
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience and passion for coordinating teams on active job sites.
  
• Language: Professional working proficiency in German (C1 Level minimum).
  
• Driving License: Valid Driver's License (Class B).
  
• Software: Solid proficiency in MS Office.
  

Preferences (Nice-to-Haves):

• Hands-on experience with construction management software.
  
• Broader technical exposure across additional MEP trades (refrigeration, air conditioning).
