German Speaking Financial Specialist

To support our finance team as part of a planned retirement succession, we are seeking a structured, proactive German-Speaking Financial Specialist / Financial Administrator (m/f/d) for a permanent role (full-time or part-time from 32 hours/week).
Your Responsibilities
- Succession Handover: Complete a structured knowledge transfer from the retiring Senior Financial Administrator.
- Core Accounting: Manage full-cycle accounting for our 3 German sites, including AP, AR, banking, corporate cards, and travel expenses.
- Financial Closings: Prepare monthly financial statements independently and assist with year-end closing processes.
- External Stakeholders: Serve as the main point of contact for auditors, tax consultants, and external advisors.
- Digitalization & Systems: Track financial KPIs, optimize administrative workflows, and assist with ERP developments (e.g., SAP integration).
- Reporting: Deliver regular financial updates to our Dutch parent company and advise internal teams on financial matters.
Your Profile
- Education: Degree in Finance/Business Administration OR completed commercial training (e.g., Steuerfachangestellte/r); Bilanzbuchhalter certification is a plus.
- Experience: 4+ years of full-cycle financial accounting experience within an SME environment, including monthly and year-end closing experience.
- Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Navision, or Business Central) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Languages: Fluent German and professional C1-level English. Dutch proficiency is advantageous.
- Work Style: Autonomous, organized, and willing to undertake occasional local day trips to secondary German locations.
