Junior IT Consultant

People Hive is supporting a client in Paderborn, Germany, in the search for a motivated Junior IT Consultant to join their growing software team.

This role serves as an important bridge between customer needs and technical development, ensuring that software solutions are effectively designed and implemented. The successful candidate will manage technical requirements, facilitate communication between stakeholders, and support the full software development lifecycle within an agile framework.

The role offers a dynamic environment where technical expertise meets customer-facing consulting.

Critical Requirements

Degree or vocational training in IT, Computer Science, Business IT, or a comparable qualification
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in IT or project management
Native or C2-level proficiency in German
Strong communication and presentation skills

Important Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows environments
Proven experience working within Scrum or agile software development methodologies
Ability to translate technical requirements into user stories and manage backlog prioritisation

Nice to Have

Practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with Azure DevOps
