Senior Backend Engineer Europe, GERMERSHEIM

We're looking to hire a  Senior Backend Engineer to own critical infrastructure: payment orchestration, merchant APIs, settlement flows, and the services that keep it all running.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate production payment services end-to-end
• Own your infrastructure (AWS, Terraform)—no separate ops team
• Ship APIs, data pipelines, and internal tooling with real production stakes
• Work primarily in Rust and TypeScript

What we're looking for

• Senior backend experience shipping and operating production systems
• Strong API and system design instincts
• Cloud-native infrastructure ownership (AWS preferred)
• Clear written communication for a remote, async team
• Effective use of AI-assisted development with strong human review

Nice to have: Rust, payments/fintech background, crypto/Web3 familiarity Build the infrastructure for onchain payments at scale.
