Work in the U.S. time zone and the U.S. market

Responsibilities: The Sales Manager is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales objectives associated with the assigned market, segment, and sales coordination to achieve productivity and the greatest overall impact on company results.

  • ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough knowledge of technical specifications
  • resolving customer questions and offering solutions to drive company revenue.
  • understanding customers' diverse, specific needs and applying all your product
    knowledge to meet those needs
  • identifying and developing new business through networking and follow-up calls
  • contact potential customers
  • managing workload in order to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals
  • reaching sales targets
  • developing effective sales plans using sales methodology;
  • keep prompt and accurate quotes, forms and CRM records and notes
  • contributing to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues
  • Ensure that the company image, policies and procedures are carried forward to both dealers and customers
  • Provide general product information and support for each of the company products
  • Establish and recommend 12 month sales targets and sales projections for their given territory
  • Monitor dealer whole goods and parts accounts and report concerns where applicable
  • Monitor trends in the industry and their respective territory and make adjustments to strategy when required
  • Travel the respective area and develop relationships with customers
  • Continuously evaluate and revamp sales goals
  • Ensure swift resolution of any customer sales issues
  • Ensure accuracy goals are met for all proposals, quotes, and orders
  • Act as company representative at trade shows to grow company awareness in local area
  • Build constructive relationships with customers and ask for referrals
  • Interact with customers to ensure they are highly satisfied with the service they received
  • Generate profitable sales orders and nurture relationships
  • Conduct product training in sales meetings

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience required
  • Agricultural equipment experience required
  • Must be office technology savvy (MS Office suite, email, etc.)
  • Experience with dealer/distribution networks is preferred, but not required
  • The ability to work and think independently is required (a successful candidate will work in a remote home office).
  • The ability to apply a proactive approach to overcome difficulties and achieve results
  • Fluent English a must and Spanish is a plus (talking,writing)
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong communication skills (mostly over the phone)
  • Prompt and motivated with desire to learn, grow and aim for more
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work with checks from $20,000
