About the role
CloserHire is partnering with a fast-growing e-mobility startup to recruit a Team Lead – E-Bike Mechanics for their Düsseldorf Refurbishment Centre.In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of e-bike mechanics, ensuring the highest quality standards in e-bike refurbishment and repair. You’ll play a key part in ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently while promoting a positive team culture. What you will do
- Lead & Mentor: Provide hands-on guidance and training to a team of e-bike mechanics, ensuring their continuous development and high performance. Technical
- Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for complex repairs and troubleshooting, setting the benchmark for technical excellence. Workflow & Efficiency: Oversee day-to-day operations, optimizing processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to timelines. Quality
- Control: Ensure that all refurbished e-bikes meet rigorous quality standards before reaching customers. Problem
- Solving & Innovation: Identify bottlenecks in operations and implement process improvements to enhance performance and customer satisfaction. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Customer
- Service) to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. Health & Safety
- Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and best practices are followed, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in e-bike mechanics, with extensive hands-on experience. Previous team management experience with a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members. Strong diagnostic and repair skills across a wide range of e-bike brands and models. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Passion for sustainable mobility and a customer-first mindset. Basic PC skills (Email, MS Office). Good knowledge of English (German is a plus). Willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Salary
35K-38K EUR yearly (gross) · performance bonus up to 1.5k month
