Czym będziesz się zajmować?

Candidate will join Business Technology Unit - central unit for cloud migration and operating model, providing high Autonomy and decision-making.

The project aim is to improve overall the way back-office services are managed and tracked alongside the mission to create and manage self-service portals.

One of the self-service potral idea is providing packages to be chosen, that allow to self-configure the servers and their environment to be ready to go. 

AWS Cloud Engineer will help to:

• Automate, structure and develop Back-Office services
• Develop further operating activities
• Optimise the back-office management process.
• Handle the infrastructure administrative/IAM tasks such as managing of several hundreds of AWS accounts

A team consists of several people in Poland and the rest of the teams are spread across Denmark, Finland, Spain and Italy.

Project responsibilites:

• 35% - Automate almost from scratch management of AWS cloud (not only on AWS Account level, but generally AWS Organization).
• 35% - Automate almost from scratch management of manual taks inside operating systems (Windows and Linux)
• 30% - Support service managers team with technical expertis
• Support and lead improvement efforts
• Designing, planning, and executing migration off of legacy infrastructure

Kogo poszukujemy?

Client is open to various tools.

Automation-wise this is almost greenfield project, however, policies have to be followed

Ideal Candidate will posses:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities – (fluent professional English is a must)
• Experience with cloud automation and scripting (e.g., CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform)
• Know-how of ‘from-scratch’ setup of platform automation
• Fluency with configuration management tools/scripts that can handle Windows and Linux servers (e.g. Ansible, Chef)
• Experience implementing tools beyond simple scripting in languages like node.js, python etc. to support creation of self-service portals
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Experience in monitoring cloud environments and regular performance checks
• AWS certifications like Solution Architect are highly appreciated
