Junior Node.js Engineer, REMOTE WARSZAWA GDYNIA GDAŃSK


  • Relevant professional experience (1,5 + year) with Node.js and either JavaScript or TypeScript programming languages - while we appreciate some breadth, we value the depth even more!

  • Strong communication skills with the willingness to learn and use multiple technologies;

  • Truly engineering approach to solving problems. Good theoretical foundations of computer science (e.g. algorithms and computational complexity, OOP) are super practical in the ever-changing landscape of technologies;

  • Basic understanding of the architecture of Node.js applications and RESTful APIs, including performance, quality and security aspects;

  • Familiarity with modern Cloud architectures (particularly AWS) along with MongoDb and PostgreSQL databases would be an advantage;

  • Professional proficiency in English (level B2 or higher);

    • The NextUp team at Appfire focuses on building apps that help software development and support teams work in a more collaborative and natural way. For rich integration with Jira we created Slack Integration+ and Microsoft Teams Integration+, for support teams using Jira Service Management there is HelpDesk+ and for Confluence integration we have Docs+.
