We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join our team to manage and deliver Kafka, databases and other stateful workloads to engineers.

On a day to day basis you can expect to:

• Create solutions that enhance the developer experience and introduce new features through a self-service Platform rooted in Kubernetes
• Deliver changes to the platform in a controlled manner
• Design and implement solutions to increase the stability, resilience and security of our stateful platform
• Develop clean, elegant, and reusable code that is well tested and easy to maintain and extend
• Operational experience of Kafka at scale
• Experience delivering cloud infrastructure with Terraform
• Experience of Kubernetes
• Be an advocate for containerisation and cloud native Solutions

Hybrid Work Model: work from the Warsaw office 2x per month is required

Kogo poszukujemy?

Ideal World Candidate:

• Kubernetes
• Kafka – operational Kafka experience is necessary
• Senior with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Go Lang
• Terraform (IaC - Terraform as a language will be mostly used)
• Knowledge of AWS
• Multicloud experience (however AWS most specifically desired)
• Candidate coming from Software Engineering to Cloud path highly desirable
• Candidate must possess Software Engineering experience
• Passion for platform

Regarding Kubernetes:

• Experience creating and/or managing custom Kubernetes operators, especially those related to stateful workloads (Strimzi, Koperator, Confluent, Supertubes etc. will be of high value

Nice to have:

• Go Lang and/or Java software development experience
• A track record of engaging positively with users of an internal platform
