Remote Senior Backend Engineer, REMOTE
Required
- 5+ years of experience in back-end development (Python, Golang, PHP, Java, .NET or similar)
- Knowledge of Python or willingness to learn
- Experience developing microservices
- Experience building highly available and reliable cloud-based solutions that can handle scale
- Experience with message brokers
- Excellent knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with DevOps techniques, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment models
- Knowledge of cloud services (preferably GCP) and managing infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform)
- Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git)
- Familiarity with security best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in working in interdisciplinary teams
Preferred
- Experience with Python or willingness to learn
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with Machine Learning, AI, and NLP in medicine/health care will be a plus
