Requirements

• Solid Experience in Scala/Spark Projects: We are looking for a professional with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Scala and Spark development. Your journey should encompass significant contributions to projects or engagements within this domain. 


• Agility and Precision: The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic settings, demonstrating flexibility and resilience. You'll be navigating agile workflows, characterized by rapid delivery cycles and exacting deadlines, ensuring that innovation never sleeps. 


• Quality Assurance and Testing: A meticulous approach to coding is a must, including the routine performance of unit tests on Scala code to guarantee flawless functionality. 


• DevOps and Automation Expertise: Your role involves more than just coding; it includes the automation of build and deployment processes. Experience in raising pull requests (PRs), triggering builds, and managing JAR version releases through Jenkins pipelines is essential. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies will be your toolkit for success. 


• Technological Proficiency: A deep understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem is fundamental. Moreover, proficiency in the following technologies is crucial for our collaborative environment:
  Jenkins for automation and orchestration 
  HQL (Hive Query Language) for database management 
  Oozie for workflow scheduling 
  Shell scripting for command-line mastery 
  GIT for version control 
  Splunk for operational intelligence and insights

• Salary: 140-170 PLN/h netto + VAT 


• Location: remote (hybrid work from Warsaw, Łódź or Gdańsk is also possible)
