For our customer, leader in IT consulting we are seeking a Systems Administrator to contribute to a project involving the migration of servers from VMware to Hyper-V.

• Location: 100% remote


• Type of employment: contract of employment or B2B

• Number of vacancies: 3 (we are building a new team who will be dedicated to this project)

Your daily tasks:

• Participating in the migration project from VMware to Hyper-V, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.


• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, plan migration strategies, and execute the migration process efficiently.


• Configuring and optimizing Hyper-V environment for optimal performance and scalability.


• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to server migration and virtualization platforms.


• Developing and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies for the new Hyper-V environment.


• Documenting migration procedures, configurations, and system changes accurately.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, with a focus on virtualization technologies.


• Extensive experience working with VMware and Hyper-V hypervisors.


• In-depth understanding of server virtualization concepts, including VM implementation, migration, and performance tuning.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


• Effective communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.


• At least Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
