German Speaking Site Construction Manager – Hybrid, HAMBURG

To manage our projects in the Hamburg region, we are seeking a decisive, digitally savvy Site Manager / Construction Manager (m/f/d) to lead on-site operations, effective immediately.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Quality Control: Oversee technical and visual inspections on site, ensuring all work strictly adheres to design plans, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Maintain daily communication with trade partners in a collaborative spirit to prevent bottlenecks and delays.
• Schedule Oversight: Actively monitor on-site progress to guarantee strict compliance with project timelines.
• Defect Resolution: Formally record subcontractor defects and track deadlines for complete remediation.
• Digital Documentation: Perform weekly site walkthroughs, compile meeting minutes and photo records, and maintain transparent logs using Google Workspace and dedicated project management software.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Education: A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a comparable technical field.
• Professional Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a site manager, ideally in structural engineering or building refurbishment (experience in energy-efficient renovation is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and standard construction management software, alongside an enthusiasm for refining digital workflows.
• Language & Communication: Fluent German skills (C1/C2) combined with a confident, assertive, yet collaborative communication style across all project teams.
• Mobility & Working Style: A valid driver's license and a willingness to perform daily site visits (on-site/office-first approach). A practical, hands-on attitude and entrepreneurial spirit complete your profile.
