German Speaking Technical Property Manager, ESCHBORN
- Location: Eschborn, Germany
- Field: PropTech & Property Management
- Presence: On-Site / Field-Based with up to 1 day per week remote work
About Us
We are revolutionizing real estate management! As an ambitious, fast-scaling PropTech enterprise, we merge traditional HOA (WEG) and rental administration with advanced, proprietary technology. While our platform automates daily administrative duties and delivers real-time visibility to owners, we rely entirely on internal expertise for technical operations. Rather than outsourcing every issue, we are assembling an elite team of architects, engineers, and trade specialists. We prioritize autonomy, direct decision-making, and clear results—anyone who steps up here takes full ownership and advances rapidly alongside our growth.
To expand our team in Eschborn, we are seeking a self-driven, assertive Technical Property Manager (m/f/d) for immediate hire.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
Take direct ownership of our technical portfolio operations while shaping the future of property management software.
- Technical Property Care: Assume end-to-end accountability for the technical oversight of a residential building portfolio (concentrated on multi-family assets across the Rhine-Main region).
- Maintenance & Repair Operations: Manage daily maintenance workflows—from site evaluations and prioritizing issues to the complete resolution of active repair cases (such as heating systems, plumbing, electrical, or structural fixes).
- Capital Improvements & Modernization: Plan, organize, and oversee major renovation, modernization, and fire safety projects (including large-scale multi-million euro budgets), maintaining strict oversight of expenditures, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Contractor Management: Oversee external specialist firms while actively cultivating a dependable network of regional service providers and tradespeople.
- Insurance Claim Resolution: Manage damage claims from end to end—from site assessments and adjuster negotiations to final repair verification.
- HOA Meetings & Field Visits: Conduct property inspections, present technical updates at HOA assemblies (including evening meetings), and assist in reviewing energy-efficiency grant options (such as KfW or BAFA).
- Product Optimization: Provide direct feedback to our software engineering team to continually refine and enhance our proprietary technology platform.
Your Profile
We value practical expertise, initiative, and strong execution over formal degrees.
Qualifications & Skills
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in technical property management or a relevant trade background (e.g., as a master craftsman or certified technician), ideally centered around multi-family residential properties and HOA (WEG) structures.
- Technical Mastery: Deep practical knowledge across core building trades (plumbing, heating, electrical, roofing, and structural engineering), coupled with extensive experience handling claims and capital renovations independently.
- Regional Network & Mobility: An existing roster of trade contacts in the Rhine-Main area, a valid Class B driver's license, and a strong preference for field work (roughly 2–3 days per week visiting properties).
- Core Competencies: High degree of self-direction, a confident and persuasive presence when speaking to property owner boards, and an organized work style.
- Language Capabilities: Fluent German (C2 level) to lead tough negotiations and handle high-level client relations.
- Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with heritage/listed properties, experience securing energy-efficiency subsidies, or the ambition to quickly step into a department leadership role.
What We Offer
- Accelerated Growth: Fast-track advancement opportunities with direct routes into team lead or department head positions within technical management.
- Competitive Compensation: A strong base salary package of €54,000 – €64,000 gross per year, supplemented by a performance-linked bonus, 30 days of paid vacation, and flexible benefit options.
- Company Vehicle: A dedicated company car provided for all work-related transit throughout the Rhine-Main area.
- Direct Impact: Minimal corporate hierarchy and zero micromanagement—enjoy direct access to leadership and influence both operational workflows and software features.
- Workplace Flexibility: Modern, adaptable working arrangements featuring up to 1 day of remote work (Home Office) per week alongside your scheduled site visits.
