The job itself

CloserHire is partnering with a leading travel management, corporate card, and expense management company to recruit a Business Travel Consultant for their Berlin-based team. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to corporate travelers, managing bookings for accommodations, flights, rail travel, and other business travel services. You will ensure seamless travel arrangements, assist with self-service tools, and ensure compliance with company and customer policies. This is a full-time hybrid

Day to day that means provide customer support via chat, calls, and emails, ensuring a smooth travel experience, stay up to date with relevant travel information, destinations, and service providers, assess customer needs, urgency, and preferences efficiently, handle complex travel bookings, including flights, rail, accommodations, and additional services, assist customers with self-service options on travel platforms and apps, ensure responses are timely and aligned with service level agreements (SLAs), and maintain compliance with company and customer policies, following global travel standards.

What you need to bring

  • Additional languages (German, Spanish, Italian) are a plus
  • Professional, empathetic, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle customer issues efficiently
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 7 PM CEST), rotation every 3 months
  • Proficiency with tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce
  • Experience in customer-facing roles or contact centers
