About the Role

We're looking for a Project Manager – Automation to lead industrial automation projects from planning through successful delivery. You'll coordinate technical teams, work closely with customers, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead industrial automation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate internal engineering teams and external customers.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Monitor project risks and provide regular status updates.
  • Support customer meetings, project reviews, and acceptance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • You must already be living in Eisenhüttenstadt or within approximately 30 km of the location. This position requires regular on-site presence and does not offer relocation support.
  • German proficiency at C1 level or higher is required.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing projects in automation or electrical engineering.
  • Completed vocational training in an electrical field with Technician certification, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
  • Experience in plant engineering or industrial automation.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with German machinery manufacturers or system integrators.
  • Familiarity with Siemens automation environments.
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems and automation projects.
