Avaloq Software Engineer

What you need to have to succeed in this role

• Strong Avaloq Development Background.
• Strong understanding of Private Banking Domain/Investment Banking/Capital Markets.
• Hands-on experience working with Avaloq (or comparable core banking / investment banking platforms).
• Strong scripting capability, including PL/SQL.
• Ability to understand user requirements and provide solutions using Avaloq Parameterization along with Unix and shell scripts, Control-M.
• Strong analysis, solution design, coding, debugging and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience across the delivery lifecycle: development, testing, handling change requests and supporting release execution. Comfortable working in Agile and DevOps ways of working.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including stakeholder-facing presentations when needed.
• A growth mindset: proactive in learning new tools and technologies and adapting quickly to change.

Primary accountability is to develop the most appropriate IT solutions in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement with responsibility to write the unit & integration tests performed by Test Engineers. What we offer The pay range for this role is 22 000 PLN – 26 000 PLN (monthly, gross). Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
