  • In-depth understanding of IFRS and its various aspects

Their Finance Operations team provides critical financial support services across the group, playing a valued role in managing finances, deploying capital effectively, and ensuring compliance with international reporting standards. The Financial Accounting team is integral to the group's financial and regulatory reporting processes, supporting period end close, accounting controls, balance sheet substantiation, and reporting across multiple frameworks including IFRS, FINREP, GSIB and CE.

They are seeking an experienced AVP Financial Accounting Operations professional to join their team in Krakow. This contract role offers the opportunity to lead critical financial processes while driving transformation within a global finance function.

Position Overview

As AVP Financial Accounting Operations, you will lead and manage the period end close process, Saracen reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation. Beyond day-to-day delivery, you will drive strategic and tactical transformation within the process, manage stakeholder relationships across the group, and supervise team performance. This role is central to ensuring accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting, directly contributing to the organisation's compliance and strategic decision-making processes.
