- Clear understanding of Regulation Management Framework, including but not limited to, Enterprise-wide Risk Management Framework. Should be able to clearly demonstrate the role within the Line of Defenses in HSBC.
- Clear understanding of applications used within overall Regulation Management Eco-System, alongside Project Management Tools, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) etc.
- Fair understanding of significant regulatory expectations (regulatory publications, engagements, findings) and other local issues.
- Experience in managing Banking Compliance, Regulatory Compliance 2nd LoD role or in a Compliance Assurance/Audit function.
- Demonstrated team player qualities and proven track record of ability to manage diverse/multi-culture work environments with strong organization, time management and prioritization demand. Relationship management within the context of Regulatory Compliance and Regulation Management.

Regulatory Compliance Centres of Excellence supports the Global Regulation Management Team (GRMT) as their team extension providing a variety of services ensuring the information held is current and of high standard. The role will report to and form a part of the GRMT team based in London and Bangalore. The role will support the team contributing to manage service delivery for Regulation Management. The role requires strong experience in regulations, risk and compliance knowledge for Banks and Financial institutions. processes and applications expertise, control focus, end to end understanding of Management Frameworks. High-quality engagement across senior levels to manage communications about assessment of HSBC’s most Significant Regulatory Matters. The incumbent would be working closely with Heads of Regulation Management, Affairs and Stewardship along with key stakeholders including the senior leadership team, including but not limited to the Global Business Lines (GBLs) from across regions. The incumbent will interact with the Onshore UK/regional and CoE teams (as applicable) on a regular basis to ensure successful attainment of the objectives.
