Business Analyst with MES experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5-10 years of experience as Functional Architect and/or Business Analyst/ Consultant in a pharmaceutical or Life Sciences environment
- Hands-on understanding in product recipe design and parameter definition (MES)
- Proven experience in system integration projects (DeltaV, SAP S4 HANA, ELN, MES, ERP, LIMS, PLM, or related)
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into structured functional and non-functional requirements
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional global environment
- Understanding of manufacturing processes for drug substances and/or drug products
- Demonstrated ability to de-escalate, keep discussions productive, and focus on outcomes
- Availability between 3–7 PM CET for overlap with EU and US teams
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with ISA-95 / ISA-88 principles and enterprise-level integration concepts
- Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies
- Previous Roche experience or work in similarly complex regulated environments
- Strong grasp of data interoperability, reporting standards, and business process mapping
- Solid understanding of SQL databases, relational data structures, and reporting systems
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Manufacturing) to join Pharma Global Technical Operations in support of our Enterprise Recipe Management initiative. This role is pivotal in identifying high-value business opportunities and pre-assessing their feasibility and size to build robust business cases.
The successful candidate will serve as a Pharma Manufacturing Domain Expert interviewing stakeholders, understanding cross-system business processes, designing improvement opportunities, documenting detailed EPICS, User Stories and help delivering them with the project team. This is a highly collaborative role that requires balancing the needs of business stakeholders with the capabilities of technical teams.
