Data and Financial Engineering Analyst
- Strong hands-on development experience in Python and SQL, writing production-quality, maintainable code
- Practical experience building ETL and ELT processes with relational databases, ideally SQL Server
- Knowledge of data modelling concepts and relational database design
- Familiarity with Jira, Git, and test-driven development practices
- Understanding of SDLC best practices including version control, code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Experience working with financial data
- University degree in engineering, finance, economics, or related discipline
- Strong analytical skills and proactive approach to problem solving
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Experience in Product Control is desirable but not essential

Our client is seeking a Data and Financial Engineering Expert to join their Product Control Data and Financial Engineering team in Krakow. Position Overview
You'll play a key role in transforming how the organisation manages financial controls and analytics. Working within the Product Control team, you'll design and build automated solutions that replace legacy systems with modern, scalable Python and SQL-based infrastructure. Your work will ensure data is accurate, well-governed, and compliant with policy standards, directly supporting the organisation's risk management and control objectives.
