Core Technical Skills



  • Strong hands-on experience with at least one enterprise RDBMS:

    • Oracle (RMAN, RAC, Data Guard, Exadata), OR

    • DB2, OR

    • PostgreSQL, OR

    • SQL Server



  • Familiarity or willingness to adopt multi-platform environments including Cloud DB services (AWS, Azure, GCP, Ali Cloud)

  • Ability to script and automate using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible

  • Experience with enterprise IT operational processes for change, incident, and controlled production environments


Other Key Skills



  • Excellent communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for varied audiences

  • Strong organisational capability—detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple concurrent priorities

  • High resilience; comfortable working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and participating in out-of-hours support when needed

You will work across multiple database technologies (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cloud DB services) to support business-critical applications and drive strategic initiatives such as platform upgrades, migrations, and standardisation. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role, enabling you to deliver impactful solutions across global infrastructure.
