FinOps Cloud Engineer
- Hands-on expertise with at least two public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Deep understanding of logging/observability architectures and their cost implications.
- Strong experience in automation and IaC (Terraform, CI/CD – GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Practical knowledge of FinOps frameworks (cost allocation, showback models, governance).
- Ability to analyse data at scale and produce detailed savings forecasts and business cases.
- Experience operating in highly governed enterprise environments, aligning with compliance and risk standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
Nice to have:
- Certifications: Azure, AWS, GCP or FinOps Foundation Certified Practitioner.
- Previous experience in financial services or regulated enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with policy-as-code frameworks and automation for governance enforcement.

We are looking for an experienced FinOps Cloud Engineer to deliver end-to-end cost governance and optimisation across a multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, and GCP). This hands-on role combines engineering depth (automation, IaC, scripting) with FinOps practice (governance, allocation, savings forecasting) to build sustainable controls, lower cloud spend, and embed cost-aware behaviours across engineering teams.
You’ll play a pivotal role in analysing patterns, building automation for logging/observability and storage cost controls, implementing guardrails, and driving measurable savings at scale—all while ensuring compliance with strict governance and operational frameworks.
