7+ years of professional experience in backend software development
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot
Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs
Practical experience with microservices architecture
Experience with relational databases and data modelling
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and engineering best practices
Experience taking ownership of complex technical solutions from design to production
Experience mentoring engineers or acting as a technical leader within a team
Good understanding of testing practices, CI/CD and modern software delivery processes
Good command of English
Ability to work independently, make technical decisions and drive solutions forward

Nice to have:

Experience working in the travel, aviation or e-commerce industry
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka)
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience working with AI-powered solutions, including integrating LLM-based features, AI APIs or AI-assisted development tools
