Mid/Senior C++/C#/CAD Software Developer – Shipbuilding

We are looking for a developer who combines strong programming skills with an interest in engineering and CAD-related technologies.

Must have:

  • Professional experience in C++ and/or C# development.
  • Good understanding of software development processes, including specification, design and implementation.
  • Knowledge or practical experience with CAD.
  • Experience working in agile software development teams.
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A customer-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to attend a 2–3-week training course in Hamburg and make short, regular business trips to Hamburg.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the shipbuilding, naval architecture, industrial engineering or manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of shipbuilding processes, including design, engineering and manufacturing workflows.
  • Experience with software used in ship design or production environments.
  • Knowledge of Java.
  • Experience with PLM/PDM systems or CAD integration.
  • Knowledge of German.

The Project

You will join a team developing software solutions for the shipbuilding and industrial engineering sectors.
