QA Engineer Senior
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software testing.
- Experience in testing complex business systems.
- Practical experience in creating test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
- Practical experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated UI or API tests.
- Practical experience in preparing and executing load, stress, or performance tests.
- Good programming or scripting skills and an understanding of software development practices.
- Ability to independently analyse requirements, business processes, edge cases, and system behaviour under different workloads.
- Experience in testing REST APIs.
- SQL knowledge sufficient to independently verify data.
- Ability to analyse application logs and performance test results.
- Good understanding of web technologies, APIs, databases, and basic system architecture.
- English at a minimum B2 level.
Nice to Have
- Experience with POS, ERP, e-commerce, payment systems, or retail solutions.
- Knowledge of sales, inventory, or fiscal processes.
- Experience with Java and/or Python, particularly in the context of test automation.
- Experience with API test automation frameworks such as Karate or similar solutions.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or comparable solutions.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Git and YouTrack.
- Familiarity with containerised environments such as Docker.
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the team developing Aquila Flex and take responsibility for the quality of a complex POS and back-office system used in the retail and hospitality sectors.
The system supports sales, payments, returns, promotions, inventory management, reporting, fiscal devices, and integrations with external system.
