Senior AI/ML Engineer – Applied AI Lead – Warsaw

People Hive is supporting a client in the search for a Senior AI/ML Engineer – Applied AI Lead to join their team in Warsaw.

The Senior AI/ML Engineer – Applied AI Lead takes machine learning models from development through to reliable production deployment, while establishing MLOps, monitoring and governance practices. The role works across Data Engineering, Product, Risk and Commercial teams to turn business problems into measurable AI solutions. Strong production ML experience, Python, Spark/PySpark, SQL and ML lifecycle expertise are central to the position.

Critical Requirements

• 5–8+ years of production ML engineering experience
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals
• Strong ML fundamentals, including evaluation, feature engineering, leakage, drift and stability
• Hands-on Spark / PySpark
• Experience with MLflow or equivalent
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions
• Strong SQL and experience with large-scale datasets
• Proven delivery of production AI/ML solutions with measurable business impact
