Senior Backend Engineer I Poland relocate to UAE, WARSAW

Our client is a software development and digital solutions company serving clients across the FinTech, iGaming, and Marketing sectors. The company has successfully delivered 20+ innovative products across 5 international markets, including Brazil, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

As part of the engineering team, you'll take ownership of the architecture and performance of the systems behind their products — working closely with product teams to keep things scalable and reliable as the business keeps expanding into new markets. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving hard system-design problems as much as shipping clean, dependable code.

⟢ Responsibilities:

• Partner with product teams to turn user and business requirements into scalable, well-architected backend solutions.
• Own the full lifecycle of web application development, from design through deployment.
• Design and build system architectures that stay fast and reliable as usage grows.
• Write unit and integration tests that catch problems before they reach production.
• Take part in incident response and post-mortems, feeding lessons back into more resilient systems.
• Pitch in on other engineering tasks as the team's priorities shift.

⟢ Requirements:

• Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals.
• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Java / Java Core.
• Practical experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Comfortable working across multiple database technologies — MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and other NoSQL stores.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Working knowledge of AWS and Docker for cloud deployment and containerization.
• Skilled in performance tuning — indexing, partitioning, sharding, and concurrent-programming optimization.
• Hands-on testing experience with JUnit and Mockito.
• Comfortable working within Agile development environments.
