Senior C++ Developer in L2

• MSc or BSc level in Telecommunications, Electronics or IT.


• Knowledge about embedded programming, ideally within the telecom sector


• Good software engineering skills with ability to write high-quality code (e.g. C++, Python) in a complex and performance-sensitive product and knowledge in DPDK


• Proficiency in L2 Protocols such as Medium Access Control (MAC), Logical Link Control (LLC), and Radio Link Control (RLC)


• Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing


• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English

The Simulation Services (SIMS) unit is an organization within Engineering Services and Experience (ESE) in Engineering Unit RAN Software & Compute Platforms (RCE). SIMS is responsible for providing Simulators to product development within Business Area Networks. These Simulators are used in product verification instead of real mobile phones and real core networks. The SIMS responsibility includes development of internal solutions for Simulators, including our main simulator CSIM FsUE NR and sourcing of Simulators from external vendors.
