Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (.NET / React)

About the role

Join one of the technology teams supporting a global investment management firm. You will become part of an established engineering team responsible for developing and enhancing internal platforms used by Trading & Compliance or Treasury departments.

This is not a greenfield project. You'll work on business-critical applications, designing new features, improving existing modules, and building tools that support key business users.

You'll be working in a highly distributed technology environment spanning public cloud platforms, private infrastructure, on-premise systems, and numerous third-party data providers.

Must have

• 7+ years of commercial experience in Full Stack software development
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core and REST APIs
• Commercial experience with React
• Experience working with SQL Server and T-SQL
• Understanding of application architecture and software design principles
• Experience building enterprise-scale applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to code quality and engineering best practices
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

Nice to have

• Node.js
• AngularJS
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Knowledge of financial services or capital markets

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core
• Build modern front-end applications using React
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases and T-SQL stored procedures
• Design and implement REST APIs
• Deliver new modules and features for internal business platforms
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions
• Work with cloud-based, on-premise and distributed systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple technology departments
• Write clean, maintainable and high-quality production code
