Senior Fund Accountant with French m/f, KRAKÓW

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Fund Accounting, Private Capital, Real Estate, Hedge Funds, or a related financial services environment
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and investment fund structures
• Experience with NAV production and financial reporting
• Very good command of English and French (minimum B2/C1 level)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience with systems such as eFront, Investran, Geneva, or similar will be considered an asset

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join a growing international finance operations team supporting alternative investment structures across European markets. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external clients, auditors, and service providers.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing fund accounting activities, ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivery of high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review NAV calculations for alternative investment funds


• Perform bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate accounting records


• Prepare financial statements and investor reporting packages


• Review capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest calculations


• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities


• Support audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third parties


• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements


• Analyze discrepancies and resolve accounting or reporting issues


• Cooperate with international stakeholders and support process improvement initiatives


• Mentor junior team members and provide subject matter expertise when required
