Senior Lead Platform Engineer Cloud & DevOps – German Speaking
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native solutions.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and operational excellence principles.
- Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
- Good understanding of DevSecOps practices and cloud security concepts.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
- German language skills at C1 level or higher.
- English language skills at B2 level or higher.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in distributed international teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience in multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of GitOps methodologies and tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
- Experience with configuration management tools, especially Ansible.
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
- Azure, Kubernetes, or cloud-related certifications.
- Previous experience acting as a Technical Lead, mentoring engineers, or leading platform initiatives.
- Knowledge of platform engineering concepts and developer experience improvement practices.
- Experienced in Using AI Tools in Day-to-Day Workflow

As a Senior or Lead Platform Engineer, you will participate in the design and evolution of cloud-native platforms, implement automation initiatives, improve operational excellence, and contribute to platform standardization. Lead-level candidates will additionally influence cloud strategy, technical direction, and engineering best practices across multiple teams.
