Senior Software Engineer

• Strong Python skills for data engineering and pipeline development
• Hands-on experience with Neo4j (Cypher, schema design, query optimization)
• Proven experience integrating multiple heterogeneous biomedical data sources
• Deep understanding of data quality practices in production environments
• Experience working directly with data providers to resolve schema, identifier, and consistency issues
• Familiarity with biomedical standards and identifiers (UniProt, Ensembl, ChEMBL, etc.)
• Strong communication skills with cross-functional scientific and technical teams

Nice to have

• Experience in pharma, biotech, or academic drug discovery
• Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in a relevant field
• Familiarity with graph ML, embeddings, or search/retrieval concepts

This is a Senior Software Engineer - Knowledge Graph role responsible for owning the data quality, integration, and development of the knowledge graph platform - a critical asset that integrates heterogeneous drug discovery and gene biology data. The primary responsibility is ensuring the knowledge graph contains accurate, traceable, and reliable data. As the robustness of the graph grows, a key expected outcome is a measurable reduction in time spent resolving data quality issues across the teams that depend on it.
