Software Test Engineer
- Completed university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing within agile software development teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with manual and exploratory testing.
- Initial experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Selenium or similar.
- Programming experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python or C# sufficient to develop and maintain automated tests.
- Experience with REST API testing using Postman, Bruno, Chales Proxy or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git) is a plus.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills. You know how to talk to developers as well as business stakeholders to get things resolved quickly. Fluent communication skills in English and Polish.
- Openness to work in hybrid model and visit the Katowice office.
As our Software Test Engineer, you will help ensure that every release of the heyOBI App delivers a reliable, intuitive, and high-quality customer experience. Initially, your primary focus will be hands-on manual and exploratory testing while working closely with our product and engineering teams during active feature development.
As our quality engineering capabilities mature, your role will gradually shift towards designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites that enable fast, reliable, and scalable software delivery.
