Trainee Data Engineer with German

• Knowledge of Python, SQL, experience with Pandas or NumPy libraries
• Knowledge of database fundamentals: types of database relationships, ACID principles, relational vs NoSQL databases, data normalization and denormalization, row-based vs columnar data storage
• Knowledge of basic Big Data concepts — OLAP vs OLTP, ETL vs ELT, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse
• Understanding of data modeling: Inmon vs Kimball (vs Data Vault approaches), Star/Snowflake schema, Fact/Dimension tables, SCD, Data Marts
  
  

• Familiarity with various data formats: CSV, JSON, Parquet, ORC, Avro, Delta Lake, Iceberg and Hudi
• Experience with Big Data frameworks: Spark, Airflow, Kafka or DBT
• Understanding of Cloud technologies and their practical application
