Must-Have Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Windows System Administration.
  • Active Directory & Identity: Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and identity management.
  • OS Support: Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Windows 10/11 enterprise environments.
  • Hybrid / Cloud Basics: Experience managing Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Virtualization: Proficiency with Hyper-V or VMware ESXi.
  • Scripting: Ability to automate routine tasks using PowerShell.
  • Core Ops: Patch management (WSUS/MECM), backup/disaster recovery, and routine server maintenance.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points)
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), or Security+ / Network+.
  • Security: Experience with endpoint security tools (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, EDR/EDR-adjacent tools) and security hardening standards (CIS Benchmarks).
  • Networking: solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and VPN setup.
