Our expectations

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant IT professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of project experience relevant to the profile or in a similar role
  • Higher vocational education (minimum Bachelor's degree)
Holds at least two of the following certifications:
** Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent or equivalent
** Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent
  • Has completed at least one full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation
  • Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and user story definition
  • Knowledge of analysis and modelling notations such as UML (e.g., capability diagrams, activity diagrams, state diagrams, logical data models)
  • Proficiency in modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or equivalent
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Specific requirements (must have):

  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint and SharePoint platform-specific tools.
  • Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business needs, requirements, and user stories.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Versatility in working across different technologies and platforms.

About the role

Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, is one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing EU agencies. While the responsibility for the management of the external borders remains primarily with the Member States, we support border control at land, air and sea borders by reinforcing, assessing and coordinating actions at the external borders of the EU and fighting cross-border crime.

Frontex deploy specialised border guards, as well as vessels, airplanes and other technical equipment, to those EU countries which face an increased migratory pressure

The establishment and operations of the Standing Corps gives raise to various novel legal challenges and risks. The selected candidate will have a chance to significantly contribute to the application of the EU law in this area by developing creative legal solutions in cooperation with internal and external partners.

Work Model: Hybrid (5 days per month from the office in Warsaw)
