Golang Engineer Regular Senior
We’re looking for both Regular (Mid+) and Senior Golang Engineers to join our client’s engineering team.
Must have requirements
- 6+ years of backend development experience (8+ years for Senior candidates).
- 3+ years of commercial Golang experience (5+ years for Senior candidates).
- Strong experience designing and developing REST and gRPC APIs.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to clean, maintainable code.
- Experience using AI tools to improve development efficiency while critically validating generated outputs.
- Very good English communication skills.
Senior candidates should also have
- Experience mentoring software engineers.
- Experience participating in architectural and system design decisions.
- Strong production troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in insurance, fintech or financial services.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry or Jaeger.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
- Experience with performance optimisation and production scalability.
- German language skills.
