Infrastructure Engineer Cloud Operations Support
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience managing Linux RedHat/SUSE servers in production environments
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, IP routing and name resolution
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and experience working across multiple hyperscalers
- Solid technical understanding of infrastructure components, security, backup and recovery strategies
- Experience with configuration management systems such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis
- Knowledge of OS concepts including high availability, disaster recovery, LDAP and performance tuning
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and colleagues
- Well-organised approach to work with willingness to learn, take ownership and share knowledge with the team
