R&D Senior Software Developer C++
Your Background:
- University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in senior technical roles.
- Advanced proficiency in modern C++ (C++17/20) with deep understanding of RAII, smart pointers, STL, concurrency, and memory management.
- Practical knowledge of C# development in plus.
- Strong experience with multithreading, synchronization primitives, asynchronous I/O and real-time system design.
- Proficiency with building systems (CMake, Visual Studio) and cross-platform development for Windows and Linux.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture patterns.
- Demonstrated experience with performance profiling, optimization, and low-latency systems.
- Understanding of software architecture principles and secure, scalable system design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Good understanding of unit and integration testing techniques and testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security).
- Practical experience developing systems for power grid management and monitoring.
- Understanding of power grid operations and applicable standards.
- Experience with industrial automation systems (SCADA, IED, RTU) in plus.
- Experience with industrial protocols and standards (IEC-60870-5-104, DNP3, OPC UA, IEEE C37.118) in plus.
- Practical experience working directly with power grid industry clients.
- Proven ability to translate customer requirements into clear technical designs.
- Effective team player with strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
