  • 5+ years of professional backend/software engineering experience.
  • Strong commercial experience with Kotlin, ideally with Spring.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based architectures.
  • Practical knowledge of AWS CDK and TypeScript.
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong knowledge of clean code principles, design patterns and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with unit, integration and E2E testing.
  • Confidence working with and refactoring legacy code.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of technical solutions.
  • Experience working in mature product or enterprise engineering environments.
We are looking for an experienced and autonomous Senior Backend Engineer to join a mature digital product environment within the automotive industry.

You will work on backend and cloud solutions with a strong focus on Kotlin and AWS, contributing not only to application development but also to architecture, deployment and infrastructure.

We are looking for someone comfortable taking ownership, working independently and navigating an existing codebase while continuously improving its quality.
