Senior C++ Software Engineer

NetQPro REMOTE 2026-09-15

Must-have

  • 5+ years of professional C++ development (C++11/14/17), including solid command of the STL, RAII, and multi-threaded programming.
  • Strong Linux systems programming background — sockets, processes/threads, performance profiling and debugging (gdb, perf, valgrind or similar).
  • Experience building or maintaining server-side / long-running daemon software.
  • Comfortable with CMake-based build systems and Git-based workflows.
  • Ability to read RFCs / protocol specifications and translate them into correct, efficient parsing code.
  • Experience with ClickHouse and MySQL databases.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-have

  • Exposure to telecom or networking protocols (any of GTP, Diameter, SS7, SIP/RTP, S1AP/NGAP, RANAP, SCTP) — or strong motivation to learn this domain.
  • Experience with high-performance packet capture (PF_RING, DPDK, libpcap) or kernel-bypass networking.
  • Familiarity with Boost / ASIO, Protocol Buffers, and additional SQL databases such as MariaDB.
  • Knowledge of specialized network interface cards (NICs) — e.g. Napatech, Intel DPDK-capable NICs, or similar high-performance capture hardware.
  • Background in network monitoring, lawful interception, QoE/QoS analytics, or OSS/BSS systems.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to speed up day-to-day coding, refactoring, or code review.

About Emblasoft

Emblasoft is a global provider of Service Assurance, Test & Verification, and Service Enablement solutions for telecom operators and network vendors, covering everything from legacy 2G/3G through VoLTE, 4G, 5G, and IMS infrastructure. Under the motto “Innovate. Validate. Operate.”, our product portfolio spans active monitoring and functional testing (Evolver), performance and load testing (PureLoad), a turnkey IMS core for rapid VoLTE/VoWiFi launches (Odin), and passive network monitoring (nScan). Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, we work with mobile operators and equipment vendors around the world who rely on us to validate, monitor, and assure their networks.

About NetQPro

NetQPro recently joined the Emblasoft group as its passive-monitoring specialist, bringing deep telecom-protocol engineering expertise and the nScan platform into a wider service-assurance offering. Where Emblasoft's other products validate networks through active, synthetic testing, nScan gives operators real-time visibility into what's actually happening in live traffic — across everything from legacy SS7 signaling to 5G SA — with call tracing, KPI dashboards, and root-cause analysis at scale. Together, active and passive monitoring close the loop on service assurance for our customers.

Our nScan monitoring system is used by key mobile operators in Poland, and we have deployments for mobile and satellite operators in other countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

About the role

You'll join the engineering team behind nScan — a C++ platform that captures, decodes, and analyzes live telecom traffic in real time, feeding the results into storage, analytics, and dashboards used by network operators and engineers worldwide.

We're looking for a senior C++ engineer who enjoys working close to the wire: parsing binary protocols, squeezing throughput out of packet-processing pipelines, and building reliable, long-running server software that runs 24/7 against live network traffic.

Who you are

  • You like understanding systems from the wire up — you're as comfortable reading a bit-level protocol diagram as you are optimizing a hot loop.
  • You write code you'd be happy to maintain two years from now, and you're pragmatic about legacy code you didn't write.
  • You can work independently, communicate clearly in a small, senior team, and take ownership of a component end to end.

What we offer

  • Fully remote work.
  • A deep, specialized engineering domain — real telecom networks, not another CRUD backend.
  • The reach of an established, global company (Emblasoft) combined with the focus and ownership of a specialist product team (NetQPro).
  • A small, experienced team and direct influence over architecture and technical decisions.
  • flexible hours
