Senior Java Software Engineer
As a Senior Java Developer in Java Business Services, you will join the Kraków-based team and cooperate closely with teams in Düsseldorf, Germany, responsible for the full delivery cycle and support of the Bank’s platforms. You will work in an international agile team across the entire software development life cycle. The platform is built on Java and Spring Cloud microservices with PostgreSQL databases and an Angular user interface, integrating with other systems in the Bank via Web Service and REST interfaces. The stack is being further modernized with technologies such as Google Cloud Platform.
About you:
- 6+ years of experience in developing and supporting distributed systems written in Java
- Ability to design and develop microservices using Java 25 and Spring Boot
- Good knowledge of current Java technologies and frameworks, as well as DevOps tools
- Experience with application lifecycle management tooling: JIRA/Confluence, Ansible, vulnerability remediation, CI/CD automation
- Familiarity with the technology stack: Java SE, Angular, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Apache Beam, Apache Flink, GCP, Redis, REST APIs, Ansible, Jenkins
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to present and communicate problems and technical issues clearly across areas and disciplines
- Proven ability to work across regions while maintaining a global perspective, with a results-oriented, structured and independent working style
