REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong knowledge of RF and antenna fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic waves and propagation
  • Good knowledge of analog and high-speed digital electronics
  • Solid experience with transmission lines, impedance matching, and confident use of the Smith chart
  • Hands-on experience with a full-3D EM simulation tool such as HFSS, CST, openEMS, EMerge, or similar
  • Extensive practical experience with a VNA and spectrum analyzer
  • Strong understanding of RF measurement techniques and interpretation of measurement results
  • Practical experience with antenna tuning, matching networks, and RF troubleshooting
  • Good understanding of PCB RF design, stack-ups, grounding, vias, discontinuities, and component placement
  • Ability to independently investigate complex RF/antenna problems and turn measurement and simulation results into practical engineering solutions
  • Strong communication skills and B2+ level of English, including direct communication with clients


NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with full FCC / ETSI certification campaigns and accredited test labs
  • Experience with radiated measurements on bench or semi-anechoic/anechoic setups
  • Strong experience with EMC troubleshooting and near-field probes
  • Experience with PCB CAD tools such as Altium or KiCad
  • Knowledge of PCB materials and manufacturing tolerances, including FR4 vs. Rogers, over-etch, and Dk spread
  • Programming and scripting skills in Python, MATLAB, C, or similar
  • Experience working closely with hardware and firmware engineers
  • Previous experience mentoring engineers or leading technical workstreams

We are looking for a Senior RF / Antenna Engineer who can independently lead RF and antenna projects, from initial requirements and design review through simulation, prototyping, measurement, troubleshooting, and final recommendations to the client.

You will work on a wide range of client projects across RF, antennas, EMC, and high-speed electronics. The hardware is never the same twice, and the answer usually comes from combining simulation, measurement, and good engineering judgment.


LOCATION: POLAND - Flexibility to work either from our Krakow/ Wroclaw offices or from a home office – the choice is up to you!
